Side Note /August 2007: I shot this in 2004. MinMei was my first model other than my friends. I was in my first year of taking up photography and you can see how I was experimenting with post processing techniques at that time using extraordinary colors, burnt sides etc.. When I look at this now I was way overboard with digital effects in PS but still kept an interesting quality to the photo somewhat disguising my clumsiness with the program. I do not use any of these effects now and try to achieve them in camera during the shoots. That is the best way to keep the natural quality to your photos. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
