Sankaku Koen in Amemura district of Osaka.
In Japan, it is very common to see people on the street corners sleeping from exhaustion or intoxication . Especially in the subway stations, though some of them would have missed the last train. Since it is very safe in Japan, you would not have to worry about your bags or belongings and can sleep soundly although you should beware of the photographers :)

Yeah, I heard about how people in Japan sleep at random (public) places, especially in the subways.
Japan looks so colorful in your photos, I wish I could visit there someday ^____^

I remember a friend of mine left a newly-bought digicam in a convenience store in Tokyo once, and when she went back for it, the owner had even kept it safe for her.

Wow. Unlike here. A little joke comes to mind.

"The Japanese invented a robot that can catch criminals. It caught 100 in just 5 hours. It was also tested in the US, where it caught 200 criminals in just 5 hours. The government of Romania ordered one and paid a huge sum for it. It arrived via air transport and it soon began it's test run. It was stolen in just 5 hours."
