In Japan, it is very common to see people on the street corners sleeping from exhaustion or intoxication . Especially in the subway stations, though some of them would have missed the last train. Since it is very safe in Japan, you would not have to worry about your bags or belongings and can sleep soundly although you should beware of the photographers  You can join and be updated on latest photoshoots/travel schedules/sneak previews of upcoming sets.
